DISCLOSURE POLICY

As an aesthetician, educator, industry consultant, author and beauty writer, it is common for me to receive products and experiences as samples or gifts. This is an absolutely essential part of my job and I test a lot of products so that I can talk about the best ones. Receipt of samples, gifts and experiences does not impact what I write about and how I write it. Merely, it allows me to keep abreast of the beauty industry and developments so that I can do my best work, which I feel in turn benefits you, the reader. Likewise, in turn there are many products and experiences I purchase with my own money that I may also write about, however if a post contains gifted items or affiliate links, it is indicated clearly

Any posts paid for by a brand are always disclosed as an AD. An AD means that a brand has financially rewarded me for my time, effort, expertise and coverage. It may also mean that they have provided me with a number of key messages that they would like to convey to my audience. Rest assured that I only agree to an AD if I am happy with the key messaging and feel it’s both useful, truthful and relevant to my audience.

I also use affiliate links across all my platforms. These links provide me with a small commission if you make a purchase after clicking. Again, it doesn’t affect the way I write or how I present my content.

If you have any questions on the way that I disclose please do contact me via the contact page and I’ll be happy to answer.
