I only have one rule when it comes to sunscreen, the best one for you is the one you like and can use every day without thinking about it. I get asked about the ‘best’ sunscreen on a daily basis and sorry to break it to you, once the basics are covered i.e. high SPF, broad spectrum, high UVA rating there is no such thing as the ‘best’; it’s all down to personal preference after that. So it’s things like texture, scent, container, cost and delivery system that become the deciding factors.
These are my personal favourites that I enjoy using and don’t leave a white cast on my skin. If you’re looking for a sunscreen, this will hopefully inspire you and save you some leg work. A few things to note:
I am a combination skin type that tends to be a touch oilier in hot weather.
I like lightweight sunscreens that I can apply with or without make up - these all make the cut.
